Pleasant Valley is conveniently located 6 miles east of US-131 in the City of Wayland. It is close to restaurants and entertainment, Gun Lake, Yankee Springs Recreational Area, and the Gun Lake Casino. The community is ideally situated for families commuting to both Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo! Wayland has three parks, a skate park and the Rabbit River Nature Trail, plus Lake Michigan is approximately 25 miles west of Wayland for those great summer weekend getaways. Residents of Pleasant Valley will attend Bessie B Baker Elementary School, Wayland Middle School and Wayland High School. The Wayland Fine Arts Center opened in 2010 and hosted 70 events in its first year. District MEAP scores are above the state and county proficiency levels.
